Ingredients:
½ cup honey + ½ cup water
Juice of 8 lemons (about 1 cup)
1 pint of strawberries (about 2 cups uncut)
5 cups water
1. Make the honey syrup by combing honey and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
2. Next, juice the lemons.
3. Then hull the strawberries, cut them in half, and puree in a blender until smooth. Pour through a sieve to remove seeds.
4. Combine lemon juice, strawberry puree, 5 cups of water, and the honey syrup in a pitcher and stir well. Chill and serve.
Makes about half a gallon.
